Kero’s game

Kerotown.

Kero’s town is becoming a game! Play as Kero, Sensei or Goro, then walk around town and find Japanese words.

Kerotown from above. A town hall with a clock tower stands behind a fountain and a gold frog statue, with shops, cherry trees and a big wheel all around.

Not out yet. The game is still being built.

What you do there

  1. Bonk Street from above, with colourful shop fronts, rooftop bridges and a plaza in the middle.

Bonk your way to the crown

Play as Kero, Sensei or Goro. Pick one of four maps and one of five ways to play. Then bonk!

  2. The bakery in Kerotown, with a giant loaf on its roof, a red awning over the window and a bicycle outside.

    Walk around town

Visit the bakery, the ramen shop, the lake and the shrine. Say hello to the townsfolk. They wave back!

  3. The SHOP WORDS card, with 11 of 16 found. Each found word is a red tab with its English under it, like ぱんや BAKERY and はなや FLOWERS.

    Find the shop words

Walk past a shop and its Japanese word goes on your card. Can you find all sixteen?

    • ぱんやpanyabakery
    • はなやhanayaflowers
    • おかしやokashiyasweets
