Kero: Shut up! I’m a professional, you know!

The fish tells Kero about his fans.

Only glowing blue eyes and smoke reveal the First Dragon in the darkness.

Goro: Your ancestors hid every trace of the prison.
Earth rises in front of the closed stone prison in the ancient flashback.
Goro: Then built Kerotown above it.
The ancient village stands above the hidden prison.

Back in Kerotown

Now · The prison is still hidden

Goro: No map.
A red cross strikes through a map.
Goro: No marker.

Goro: Just a town of STUPID frogs who forgot!
Goro leans forward in fury, with both horns visible.
Villager: So... how do you find it?
The green villager looks up at Goro, puzzled.

The Echo Frogs

Goro’s explanation

Goro: The Echo Frogs. A rare Japanese bloodline.
A gold Echo Frog appears in the ancient demonstration.
Goro: Their croak makes the three locks glow.
The golden frog croaks. Three round locks glow above it.
Goro: Your ancestors used their voices to seal him.
A glowing lock on the ancient prison door.
Goro: I’ll use those same voices to wake him.
Back in the present, Goro faces his worried captives.

Goro’s plan

Kerotown · Now

Goro: Then the flame of his own bloodline will break the prison.
Flames rise around Goro as he explains the next part of his plan.
Goro: MY flame.
Goro declares his own connection to the First Dragon.
Villager: And... when he gets out?
The green villager asks what will happen if the dragon escapes.

If he wakes…

The future Goro threatens

Goro: The rivers boil.
Two purple river creatures flee the boiling water in Goro’s threatened future.
Goro: The forests burn.
A horned red forest creature looks alarmed among the flames in Goro’s vision.
Goro: The First Dragon awakens.
In the imagined future, blue eyes peer through a widening gap in the prison.
Goro: And every kingdom bows to dragons again.
The First Dragon’s huge blue eyes loom over ruins in Goro’s threatened future.

Goro gives an order

Back in Kerotown · Now

Goro: When I tell you to sing, you sing!
Goro points his anger at the captive villagers.

Sing! An order

Goro orders two frightened green and blue frog villagers to sing in the ruined village.
うたえ Romaji: utae Sing! (a forceful order)

This is Goro’s forceful command. It is not a polite way to ask someone to sing.
